I didn't like his game at all tonight, was a complete defensive liability.

Good for him to get a goal but not hurt we dont have him

Kids going to be a star. You'll be hearing his name for the next 15+ years.

Everyone in Sweden is raving about him.

Playing in the SHL leads all Dmen with 8 goals.

His coaches compare him to Erik Karlsson..

Yip. Willander is way more a complete dman. As noted by his increased ice time through the tournament. His skating and ability to recover and adjust are pro.

Anaheim has a beauty in Rodwin Dionicio.

Switzerland's best skater all tournament long. Anaheim's blueline has a lot of studly prospects in Pavol Mintyukov, Tristian Luneau, Noah Warren, Owen Zellweger, Rodwin Dioncio. They already have Jackson Lacombe and Jamie Drysdale as young fixtures on the blueline.

You can have him WHL.... Without Hronek, nucks wouldn't be as good as they are.  Petey would probably leave as a result.  But hey we'd have a undersized offensive d-man that might be good in 2-3 years...

If we win the Cup with Hronek it's all good.

If we don't then it's definitely going to suck watching be a star in he NHL for the next 15+ years

Ya. He does remind me of Karlsson. But I'm not a big Karlsson fan. I really liked Willanders complete game.

Agreed, should be 5 on 5. Lame to end an elimination game with 3 on 3.

The gold medal game will be 3 on 3 for full 20 mins overtime periods until a golden goal is scored

ASP is not an nHL player. He’s terrible without the puck. And he commits way too many bad turnovers in high danger areas. He’s another puck sucker drafted by Yzerboy.

3 on 3 should have a red line rule in bringing it back out. Instead of being allowed all the way back into your own zone. Contain the play somehow.

actually I like the format. I think nhl should do 10. Sure its keepaway but thats kinda a big skill too.

I like Willander more. But watching this game reminded me of how Lias Andersson was MVP and got way more ice than EP. We all know how that turned out, lol.

Not a fan of 3 on 3 for deciding games in IIHF. But I agree, 10 minutes for regular season NHL OT. Maybe an adjustment on zone entries and exits though. It can ruin what can be a fun 3 on 3.

A little bit of game management here.

Those were soft penalties on SUI.

um, they didnt call like 10 of them, and in last minute they figured they better cover their ass so the call a weak one. There it is.

I’ve heard that every other draft since Karlsson was drafted. 😂

Every smooth skating Swede is “the next Karlsson”. Fact is there’s only one he’s generational.

The swiss just got robbed

If it's the last call, had to be called or quite likely a 2 on 0 for Swiss. I'd rather a call there than a non call. The non call resulting in a 2 on 0 effects the game more than calling the penalty?

Yeah the ref had no choice there. When there's a change of possession and it looks like a chance will result directly from the infraction it's a guaranteed call in any league.
