I think the fact we blew a lead with 3 min left and then blew a 2 on 0 in OT and then lost with like 15 seconds left in OT is why we feel so sour about this loss despite taking over first place in the league. Up until the 3 minute mark of the 3rd period, I was super happy with how the team was competing. Some guys struggled but the effort was there. Petey hit the post, wouldn’t shoot for the rest of the game until OT, then pinched a log on a 2 on 0 breakaway and let the other team bring the puck down and score very reminiscent of the NYR game.
