It's more that they don't pay any real attention to the Western teams... To much work!  Unless they played for them in the past or the team is in the top 5 in the West... They don't give a shit.  It just so happens that the nucks are good this year, so they are paying attention... A little bit.

But, if the rumor ends up to be true... I'm down with Petey + for Bedard.

If we did trade him to Chicago and they paid him 14M per, he would sign. There is no way we go beyond 11-12M

Letting EP40 go to Chicago for $14M and get 4 1st back .... yes ... Petey won't make the 2023 Blackhawks into 1985 Edmonton Oilers and be a cup contender for next few years.

 

Am I wrong?
