I think it was a bunch of things, they lost the "who are we to win" attitude and instead have been soaking up all the media giving Canucks attention for the first time. I think they will be back to basics, and its one game focus. Also there will be alot of line juggling for a few weeks to figure out where the chemistry or the "Juice" is. I think Lindholm is great as a 3C and we can get 3 top lines and one shutdown line. We already blew our wad on Lindholm. He’s an awesome bottom 6 power forward but he doesn’t do much on offense and never has shown that he can put up numbers. If they came asking for like a 3rd and McDonough, I’m definitely listening. It’s not crazy to pay a first for the type of player that we need. With all due respect you kind of proved why McBain isn’t worth a 1st+. He has played in the top 6 and has 6 goals on the season. He also has not scored since the new year. I agree he would be a great add, but if we’re sacrificing another 1st round pick, we need to add someone who can help our scoring. McBain in a really good year can maybe be a 20 goal guy but so far he has not shown he can get to that point.
