Yes that’s all it was. We solved our problem in just one period and figured it out. 
 

McDavid, MacKinnon, Kucherov, Crosby. They all play with top talent not 4th line plugs. It was pretty obvious Petey didn’t like playing with Sam Lafferty.

This is why the TO model doesn't work and why I hope Petey has the sense to take a deal that errs on the team friendly side.

He always talks about wanting to win and we need to pay top players to play with him and build out our depth still

 

I'm nervous about his contract
