Gives us another option. Maybe we look for another center (Monahan) instead of a winger for the top 6?

Yeah im thinking they need a solution coz they are not deep enough at center to run with the 649 line long term

For top 6 Id try:

JT - Kuzy

EP-Brock

Brock is smart enough to keep up with Petey's hockey IQ.  Hes more defensively responsible this year.

Kuzy can benefit from JT's board work. You can play QH and Hronek with the guys that need a push to have more O zone possession.

This will give them Suter and Blueger as their bottom 2 centers.

Aman line made me nervous in the D zone .  Ideally you would like to see Blueger and Suter centering the bottom two lines...but when you put EP and JT together you need another center...thankfully 649 line lit em up...

Aman is usually reliable in the d-zone. For whatever reason his game was off tonight.

That's what I've been saying for awhile! Petey should be on the wing like Marner and Stone.

I'll be honest, this was funny the first few times, but it's really old now. Mr. Tommy is really milking this one.

It's a tradition since the tank days.

Keep Lotto line together for the duration of the road trip.  We'll figure out a way to get Petterson going and this is a good solution for now.  He looks much better when he is not burdening playing center.   We need him to get going and make the team looking even more dominant.

He has a .897 in his past 10 games. He hasn't been great.

Just a worrying trend. I'm sure he can snap out of it though.

Which goals would Demko want to have back tonight?

Goal 1: 3 player screen

Goal 2: Snipe by Haula from the slot, post and in

Goal 3: Snipe by Miller from the slot, Åman half screen

Goal 4: Hard slap shot, top corner, from high slot, half screen

What about all the high danger chances he saved? Or the cross crease split and glove save from in close he had?

THEY SCORED 6!

CFF will think we are garbage unless we beat the Rangers 10-0.  Seems like blocking him is not enough.  Wish the tags to his posts were blocked as well

Lumme and Ohlund.

Among my favourite Dmen of all time.

That Hughes is eclipsing them, just shows how special he is.

Wow. As a kid I saw some amazing forwards and goalies, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better offensive Dman than Hughes.

Prove me wrong.

Much like “seeing eye singles” in baseball, high blocker point shots (through layered screens) sometimes get list by the goalie. Double Bubble Demko gets eyes on those.

Be gentle, Alf.  He is feeling fearful.😪

He's a gem.  Right choice for the captain.

He had a few decent hits finishing his checks tonight too, didn't make the stat sheet but was a welcome sight.

Blueger was real impressive and Joshua really is much better than last season. Others have said this but plenty goes on away from the tv camera and its nice to see him at it. Thought he was going to cause a bench brawl at one stage.
