Kuzmenko is making a great effort to be first man in on the forecheck and to be back in the defensive zone. His confidence is shot so he needs to be rehabilitated. I am sure if Petey was scratched for 5 games and then put on the 4th line he would also be making a lot of mistakes. I’ve seen enough over the last 30 years to know this. As long as Kuzmenko is not a liability defensively then he will be fine. He then will need to work on his confidence with the puck so he can start scoring again. I hope it works out for him.
