Now we have to decide which two to send to skills along side Petey.... Hughes and JT? Brock and JT? Miller, Petey, Brock and Dem just got voted in the All Star game! I must have missed that while they were gushing about 10lb2oz McBaby’s birthday today. 1
Dizzle
18 minutes ago, VegasCanuck said: Everyone was worried about this being a 7 game road trip! Everyone would have been thrilled if the Canucks came back from this trip 5 and 2, now it looks like we really should go 6 and 1 which is phenomenal from where this team was, just over a year ago. I would have been okay with 3-3-1 to be honest…
Popular Post AmyTheGma
That was a very exciting 1-0 game. That was a playoff experience through and through. Loved the chippy physical play and that our team was able to lock down the defensive game. Buffalo players were very frustrated all night. They had no answers. To do this at the end of a road trip really shows the gumption of our boys. So proud of them and the professionalism they have shown all year! 15 1 3 1

Canuckfanforlife82
I think the nhl is trying to make all our all star players tired for the second half. lol.
MathIsFun
I missed getting an answer to my question earlier, if there was one. I posted a few games ago: "Why is Blueger getting waived out of the faceoffs so many times?". Luckly, when Joshua comes in for him, he seems to win his share of them.

-Buzzsaw-
Only negative is that being at the Allstar game can be a distraction from team focus and players often lose sleep because they have to attend multiple events. And rest of the team is sitting at home. But maybe because this is essentially the 5 man unit which is the starting lineup for the team, this doesn't apply. 1
Popular Post The Duke
Is this the best Canucks team we’ve ever seen? Cop-out answer would be wait and see.. and fair enough. But I’m starting to think it might be. The top end talent of Hughes, Miller, Petey, Demko, Boeser and Hronek are all playing at an elite level. And the team has very good depth - lots of solid two way forwards who can chip in offensively. A big, mobile defence group. Top notch goaltending from both Demko and DeSmith. We know they can score and the defensive side of the game just continues to get better and better. 3 2 2

Its harder on the guys who have over a week of practice and waiting for next game.

stawns
Just finished, a defensive master class on the road. Buffalo never really threatened and Van was in control most of the game. I hope that Greenway rumour was just that, a rumour. There's nothing about his game that would fit this Canucks team, imo

Old school answers the bell, and proceeds to still hit Dahlin They knew what they were doing when they let Bo walk and kept Miller. Miller wanted to be here and has the exact kind of killer instinct this team was lacking. He walks the walk. Culture change meant they had to shed the easy to play against image....they've done that and some. Bo was more spokesman type...commercials with McDavid. Doing the hockey is for everyone stuff. All commendable but his team needed him too. And it was frustrating because he had the build to do what Miller does....but he'd skate away. That never sat well with me. 12 3 1 2
