Time will tell, but if Adin Hill is the real deal long-term, he could be Canada's ace up their sleeve. He was certainly all-world in the 2023 playoffs and so far in 2023-24. If he can actually be consistently good (a tall task for goaltenders), then Canada could have it's star goalie again. In other areas, the Americans probably at least match Canadians. Dobson/Makar are probably a better top two than Hughes/Fox, though Dobson and Makar are both righties so might not play together. It would be a really fun matchup to watch. Both teams are still very elite and it's tough to call. My money would be on Hellebucyk/Demko being better than Hill/Hart/Talbot or whatever combination Canada would try in net though. You naming off a bunch of Canadian names doesn't mean anything. Do you not think the USA has the stars match any of them? You do realize that Canada is sending 15 players to this year's all-star game while the United States is sending... 14 players?

It's a fan vote + one player from every team doesn't mean a thing. And yes I do believe that's true - also don't believe we are screwed in the playoffs

But you're right. 5 Canucks (4 Americans) going to the all-star game doesn't mean a thing. It is always funny to see a Canucks fan get all defensive about Canada vs. USA when half of the entire team is American.

Dobson and Morrissey would be a pretty solid 2nd pairing, IMO.... That still leaves Theodore, Pietrangelo, Reilly, Ekblad, Chabot, Dunn, Montour, Hamilton, Parayko, Spurgeon, Matheson, Tanev, etc.....
