No, that was Girard. He came back not too long ago. Nichuskin just took some time off during the playoffs last year because of that hooker incident. Once again the Colorado Avalanche are getting gutted with injuries/absences, just like last year. No player wants that on their resume either, so he won't be faking it after his previous issues.
