Muscatel Marauder
Lithuania to allocate $11 million to buy Palianytsia missile-drones for Ukraine Lithuania will allocate 10 million euros ($11 million) to buy new Ukrainian-made Palianytsia missile-drones for Kyiv, former Strategic Industries Minister Alexander Kamyshin said on Sept. 6 after the meeting of Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) in Germany. Ukraine developed Palianytsia in order to respond to Russian attacks with its own domestically produced long-range weapons. The production of one missile-drone costs less than $1 million.

This package of support includes the launch of advanced pilot training. Maybe we should start a global GoFundMe. Show Russia how you feel about Putin, help send them more exploding drones.

I was wondering how Canada was contributing to the F16 training program, while the RCAF has never operated F16s. FLIT makes sense. That is training on the CT-155 Hawk, a jet training aircraft that can emulate the avionics and software of various 4th generation fighters. The RCAF just stopped FLIT training its own pilots because the Hawks are unsuitable as an F35 trainer (unfortunately have to send our future fighter pilots to the US while we wait for the next generation trainer to enter service). But we still have Hawks and instructors that are good for jet fighter training for air craft like the F16 or F18. That also makes it sound like the F16 training program is taking in brand new recruits, which is excellent. An experienced Mig 29 pilot wouldn't need FLIT before getting into an F16. This opens up a huge amount of new manpower potential. I'm glad this is something we're doing, shades of the old Commonwealth Air Training Plan from WW2. 1 2
