Neither does canada with the turd in charge. The most corrupt government this country has ever had to suffer through. I think that is not even a close comparison. Orban is literally in control of the state media there and is running a state sponsored kleptocracy. Like if you started a business and one of his friends wanted to buy it, you accept or you get targeted by state audits. Or businesses would be warned of consequences of putting ads on certain opposition newspapers and those businesses starve from no ad revenue. It's patronage to the extreme. Nor are you at risk of arbitrary detentions or interrogation without judiciary oversight because you called Trudeau a turd. You have that freedom. So yea, not even in the same orbit. You also need to take it to the Canada thread. Edited January 19 by DSVII 1 4 1 1

Its all he’s got . an adage comes to mind : A tiger and a donkey are having a conversation , they are looking over a beautiful valley from high above. The Donkey says “the valley is blue”. The tiger says “ the valley is green” They debate and argue their points for half the day. frustrated ,. The Tiger says , “let’s go to the King and he can decide for us. They agree on this and go to the Lion King. The Tiger says “can you tell us what color the the Valley dear King?” “The Donkey and I have argued over this for half the day, I say the Valley is green.” ”The Donkey says the valley is blue” ”What is your answer dear King”? The King says “ the valley is Blue”. “and because of this the Tiger is banashed from that valley for 2 years” … the Donkey trots away with a big smile and laughing to the sound of “HeHaws” . The tiger turns to the King and says: “ you know the Valley is Green”. ”Why did you say that?”. the King says: “Yes, the Valley is Green,. but anyone who is going to try to change the mind of a jackass , is wrong, and needs not to engage with him to change his mind” “His Fate will be worse” Edited January 19 by SilentSam 2 2 2 1
SilentSam
The Blood of Spartans in UKraine troops: rybar is giving a somewhat honest view of the battle of krynki... russians can not advance into the town (10,000 troops are in the area) ukraine only has 88 troops holding the russians back (russian numbers) ukraine has more and better artillery in the area. what they dont tell you is that any vehicle or troops getting into the town are taken out quickly by FPV or artillery. the 88 troops are wrecking entire regiments on the russian side. something is REALLY wrong if this is the real number... no way 88 troops should be holding back.. the 810th BDE (2500 troops) 70th division (8000 troops) 26th rgt+ 144th brigade (2000 troops) 104th airborne div (8000 troops) 337, 328th rgt 83rd airborne brigade (2000 troops) all the units are in action against the bridgehead. SilentSam
A New A50 is flying ,. info on its capabilities: Infographic of the work of a new AEW&C A-50 aircraft and what changed after the previous one was shot down: The picture shows the current range of the locator of 300-400 km •As you can see, now the A-50 aircraft does not fly into the waters of the Sea of Azov at all, its patrol route runs along the land part of Russia, in the Krasnodar-Rostov zone; •Patrolling in this zone significantly reduces the ability of the ship to target and direct ballistic missiles at land and air targets in the south of the country; •It also affects the fact that in the last few days there has not been a single launch of ballistic missiles from Crimea, at targets in the Kryvyi Rih and Kropyvnytskyi regions, because the locator simply does not reach there.

SilentSam
1. 2007 - Russia conducted the world's first cyber war against Estonia 2. 2008 - Russia waged a five-day-long war against Georgia, seizing (and still occupying) 20% of Georgian territory (Abkhazia and South Ossetia) 3. 2014 - Russia seized Crimea and launched a not-so-covert war in Donbas, with Russian special forces and intelligence personnel (GRU) supporting so-called "separatists" 4. 2015 - Russia deployed military forces to Syria, allegedly to fight ISIS, but instead spent most of their time bombing anti-Assad fighters elsewhere in the country, and conducting precision-guided munition attacks on 50+ underground medical facilities 5. 2022 - Russia invaded Ukraine in a "special military operation" that Putin's corrupt GRU and SVR told him would last three days. Russian soldiers have committed countless war crimes and the Russian military has targeted civilian areas of the country. On top of all the things that Putin's Russia has done, take a look at what Putin (and others in Russia) have said and written about Ukraine, and about their plans and intentions beyond Ukraine. Vladimir Putin is Hitler 2.0. We can either help Ukraine to stop Putin now, or we can fight him directly later on -- at much greater cost in money and lives.
SilentSam
Macron woke up ! France is ramping up weapons production for #Ukraine & says Russia's scrutinizing the West’s mettle. It has launched a drive to fund the delivery of 78 Caesar self-propelled 155mm howitzers (see pic) & provide 3,000 155mm artillery shells per month & send an 40 additional long-range Storm Shadow missiles and “several hundred bombs.”
