"The Kremlin wants to end the conflict diplomatically" but will fight for Ukrainian lands "to the last bullet" if necessary.

Who's lands?

*Edit: I guess that part isn't part of the direct quote. Whatever, fuck Putin.

The latest attempt by chancellor Scholz to organize a swap deal with UK and Ukraine where TAURUS missiles go to UK so that more Stormshadows can be transferred to Ukraine is as shameful as it is illogical. It defeats almost every excuse Scholz and other SPD members where bringing up, such as that it would leave Germany vulnerable. How does a transfer of missiles to UK instead Ukraine make Germany not weaker? Absolutely ridiculous. Ukraine needs this missile for a specific purpose which the Stormshadow cannot deliver. I laid this out in a post a few months ago and it hasn’t changed.

This German government is the manifestation of political embarrassment. It has nothing to do that Ukraine might use this missiles against targets in Russia (even though it would be perfectly ok). Scholz and the rest of the SPD are terrified by the thought that a German missile might destroy Putin-Russia’s pride, the Kerch Bridge. This bridge is the “problem”, together with the interference of the Schröder cartel within the SPD.

To add to an earlier post on poisonous grenades in use by RuZ

It has been almost 100 years since the civilized countries of the world banned the use of poison gas in warfare. Putin and his lackeys are really living in the past and don't seem to be at all worried about committing an endless string of war crimes. They must actually believe that they will win the war and are immune from the consequences of their actions.

I remember when Krutov came to Vancouver. His wife went grocery shopping with another player’s wife. She took two buggies and started filling them up with meat, cheese and stuff. The other wife explained how good is plentiful and available here. No need to fill two buggies because the shelves will be empty. It seems Russia is back to the late 80’s in the old Soviet days. The people there need to rebel and dispose their dictator.

What the US tax funds do when they support UKraine,.

they directly support the manufacturing of Weapons in the US,

creating domestic work and employment..

The funds are NOT GIFTED ,  like many are led to be believe.

The funds create domestic employment through a manufacturing order.

the  ACTUAL gift is giving the ammunition.

money well spent !

The funds “for Ukraine” primarily go to US companies. There is a detailed map obtained by Politico and also a map, which I made last year, showcasing that fact. These are top twelve which benefit the most:

1. Arizona: $1.978 billion
2. Pennsylvania: $1.964 billion
3. Arkansas: $1.272 billion
4. Wisconsin: $1.021 billion
5. Florida: $0.987 billion
6. Texas: $0.930 billion
7. Mississippi: 0.924 billion
8. West Virginia: $0.763 billion
9. Michigan: $0.737 billion
10. California: $0.724 billion
11. Missouri: $0.692 billion
12. Ohio: $0.684 billion

This is US tax payer money for US jobs. It is investment in those states so that US allies can fight a war so that US soldiers do not have to fight. It is a win-win for both sides, the US and their allies. Everyone saying something differently, is not only lying but trying to obstruct this successful endeavor. And currently Republicans have put this on hold.

That are simple facts.

In russian language there are actually 2 separate words that translate to English as “Russian” - “Russkiy” (which means russian as nationality) and “Rossiyanin” (which means russian as citizenship). Russia has conquered many nations in Caucus, Siberia, Asia. When talking about russian citizens with Asian blood - there are Buryats, Kalmyks, Evenks, Tuvans, Chukchi, Koryaks, Eskimos, Aleuts, etc. Most of them are from the Mongoloid ethnic groups. There are also large Korean communities in the Asian parts of russia and also native Chinese who start “occupying” large empty areas of Siberia - there are whole towns where no one speaks Russian, only Mandarin. And russian racism is pretty rampant, where russian citizens with Asian features are called in a derogatory way “Ne russkiy” (not russian).

Thanks Roman, that's really interesting. I did not know the finer details of it

A kid I grew up with told me about his relatives coming from Poland after the Iron Curtain came down. His mother took her sister to the local Overwaitea to shop. His aunt started to cry as they filled their cart. They had gone hungry back in Poland during the Cold War. She could not believe how much food was in the store.

By the way my friend's father was in the Polish army in WW 2. When Russia invaded from the rear he was taken as a POW. The Russians sent him to Siberia where he was in a forced labor camp for most of the war. At some point he escaped the camp and walked into China and was eventually sent by ship to England. When the war ended he was able to return to Poland but was able to emigrate to Canada before the Russians could stop him. I doubt this man was over 5' tall but built like a brick. Whenever I was at their house he would never say anything and would never make eye contact. He worked his life at a local sawmill, raised his family and was a good citizen. So many of those who came to Canada from Europe after the war were solid citizens and built community. His story was one that you could make a movie about.

The strike against Russian oil facilities in Tuapse, Russia, only days after the successful strike against the Ust-Luga terminal removes all doubt that we are dealing with a targeted effort to eliminate all major Russian oil and gas ports, so that they are rendered useless for any operations.

When looking at the Russian oil and gas pipeline map, then you will notice that almost all of them head West. There is a small pipeline going east, but it is not connected to the main oil fields in Western Siberia and only small in size. Russia's economic lifeline goes all the way West. In the past, this was the matter of problems for the West, since Russia used this power to blackmail Europe. Now, its close proximity has become the source of weakness.

Among all of those pipelines only 5 end in Russian sea ports. Every other pipeline, especially the Druzhba pipeline, enters Western (NATO) territory and are therefore subject of sanctions or worse. The Druzhba pipeline goes anyway partly through Ukrainian territory and the rest such as the pumping stations are anyway in firing range.

3 of the pipelines end near Sankt Petersburg in the Baltic Sea, 2 of them go the Black Sea. Among of them, Ukraine successfully struck 2 already. Ust-Luga is inoperable for the next weeks or even months. Shipping companies will increasingly reconsider sending their vessels to those ports which are military targets.

This will be a big headache for the Russian war effort. The current attacks are still small in size, using a handful of drones, but already caused considerable damage. When Ukraine starts mass-hitting those ports, then the Russian air defense will not be able to stop the outcome, even when destroying 99% of all drones.

The National Geographic map is from 2006 and yet not much has changed since then. The major difference I see is the extension of the natural gas pipeline grid of which some have been turned into "sea water pipelines". The irony behind that speak for itself. Putin and his oligarchs never ever anticipated this situation, like everything since February 2022. Everything what Moscow does makes a bad situation worse and I'm sure that sooner or later somebody in Putin's circle (of which nobody is a saint but simply tired of this vicious cycle) will do the math that it is easier to remove Putin than remove the Ukraine will for freedom and independence.

If Russia is declared or considered a "war zone " international shipping will not travel there are their insurance will likely not cover the loss of their ships if destroyed. Same goes for the Red Sea.

Time to send an aircraft carrier and 2 subs to Alaska ,  with our F18’s stationed there as well 🙂

Putin will break his neck with the whiplash of feeling captured and locked in within his own borders
