As we watch this action in Kursk Sam we do so from day to day. We hope for every success for the AFU. Their professionalism is to be admired especially when you realize that many have suffered personally along with their families. What the Russians have done in Ukraine is a war crime.

Tactically we assume the AFU is seizing territory in Kursk as a chip for future peace talks. If the Russian army cannot drive them out is a major win for Ukraine. An aspect of these events that are not being discussed much is the coming winter. If my farmers Almanac has any credence the winter this year is to be extreme with long bouts of cold. Reports from Russia suggest their infrastructure has been compromised in many areas. Their economy is imploding. Putin desperately offers money for army recruits but has little to nothing to aid civilians who are suffering. That is in summer. What happens this winter when heat and food supplies are an issue?

Great post Bouds..

I’ve been curious of the type of winter we / they might get as well and have found similar reports or outlooks..

Perhaps it’s time for the. United Nations NOT TO BE UNPREPARED for a massive invasion of Humanitarian Aid and order that can not be stopped by Putin.

Leaving RuZ citizens in awe of the amount of wealth Democractic Countries can contribute when combined as a Leauge of Nations holding hands to save them ,

and offering another hand for them to get up off the floor they are at.

Toilets.       From the beginning I was like , WTF ??

They have no fucking toilets?

Thats like a third world country !

UKR Movements further from uncontested areas:

"two Ukrainian soldiers awaiting orders to join the battle in Kursk said they had just arrived from the front line near Pokrovsk, where Ukrainian forces are under heavy pressure. “We came to help,” said one of them.

Another soldier said he was surprised to learn he was being transferred to the Sumy border region as his unit was so short of men that infantry spent as long as 45 days straight in a trench. The 25-year-old had been stationed in Chasiv Yar, one of the hottest spots on the front line, until a week before the incursion...

'Everybody is more or less happy with how it’s going,' said the soldier, who goes by the call sign Pokemon."

If memory serves the west sent relief supplies in 1992 when Russia's economy collapsed. What did that get them? IMHO the Russian people will have to go thru hard times to realize how big a failure their Putin is/was. The vast majority of Russians have been big supporters of Putin and his attack on Ukraine. They were

quite happy to watch the atrocity their boys exacted on Ukrainian civilians. Geez they were even sacking their own country as they retreated in Kursk. They would take what aid the west offered and would see it as weakness and then try and stab them in the back.

perhaps then an offer to defect from RuZ / Putin , for those that wish a better life ?

UKR will need to rebuild while watching RuZ collapse .

to add to our discussion on humanitarian aid ,  Zelensky is on it .

A great reason to secure gained territory.
