Not as simple as turning valves to cut flow if the tanks are already full. Also location of where the pipelines are that take product away. Have they already been destroyed? If so those tanks will continue to pop.

Boudrias
4 minutes ago, SilentSam said: IMHO China is in a win/win situation. Russia continues to fight and the west empty their arsenals supplying Ukraine. Russia implodes and China walks into Siberia with no opposition. China regains what they think is rightfully theirs and becomes self sufficient in many resources they need. Taiwan can be put on hold as they absorb Siberia. One would think the Kremlin would know this is a bigger national security risk than NATO or Ukraine. They could walk away from Ukraine and maybe save the rest of their country. Either way Russia is in big trouble and I doubt it survives as is for another year. The longer Ukraine is in Kursk the faster Russian troops will throw their guns down. By all appearances the resistance in Kursk is not very enthusiastic. 1

SilentSam
This has them spinning …. from last night .. only one way to stop the turmoil .. execute Putin, total surrender.. Capitulation of RuZ borders for own Saftey . Referendums in RuZ areas , to see who they want to side with and again alter regions and borders. Starting fresh , Can be a beautiful thing. 1

While you and I have bth long spoken of this I do believe if China did in fact march in to Russia it would be met with nuclear response. Ukraine is one thing, a few hundred sq KMs of area taken by Ukraine in response to the russian invasion is another. But a military superpower marching in to Russia with the clear intent of settlement would without a doubt be met by a nuclear response.
