I've been watching the old HBO series John Adams.  The last episode I watched concerned Ben Franklin and Adams traveling through Europe begging for cash and arms to support the Continental Army.  Trump does not seem to be aware of this bit of US history.

Russia Sees Highest Daily Losses Since 2022 for 4 Months in a Row, Says British Intel Over the past four months, Russia has experienced its highest daily casualty rates since the start of the full-scale invasion, stated the UK Ministry of Defence. British military estimates indicate that Russian forces lost an average of 1,262 soldiers per day in May, 1,163 in June, 1,140 in July, and 1,187 in August. It is anticipated that Russian Armed Forces losses will continue to exceed 1,000 personnel daily in September. Earlier, UK Intelligence reported that Russian losses in Ukraine continue to grow amid ongoing Russian offensives in the Donetsk region and Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region, Russia.

️ Zelensky: I am grateful to President Biden, US Congress, both parties, and the entire American people for today's announcement of significant defense aid to Ukraine totaling $7.9 billion and the imposition of sanctions against Russia.

An additional Patriot air defense battery, other air defense equipment and interceptors, drones, long-range missiles and air-to-ground ammunition, as well as funds to strengthen Ukraine's defense and industrial base.

I also appreciate the decision to expand programs to train more of our pilots to fly the F-16, as well as the strong sanctions put in place to further limit Russia's ability to finance its aggression against Ukraine.

If for no other reason Trump will lose the POTUS election because of his position on Ukraine. Trump cannot even vocalize his rationale in a coherent manner. Eisenhower and Reagan must be turning in their graves. He is a sad excuse for responsible government. Harris will win and become known as the 'smiling president'.

This ship was a topic of interest a number of pages back. I still think the Norwegians should have escorted it out to sea and blown it up. Its ever changing destination with this floating bomb is more than a bit concerning.

“I am proud to welcome President Zelenskyy back to the White House today. For nearly three years, the United States has rallied the world to stand with the people of Ukraine as they defend their freedom from Russian aggression, and it has been a top priority of my Administration to provide Ukraine with the support it needs to prevail. In that time, Ukraine has won the battle of Kyiv, reclaimed more than half the territory that Russia seized at the start of the war, and safeguarded its sovereignty and independence. But there is more work to do. That is why, today, I am announcing a surge in security assistance for Ukraine and a series of additional actions to help Ukraine win this war. 
 
Today, I am announcing that: 
•I have directed the Department of Defense to allocate all of its remaining security assistance funding that has been appropriated for Ukraine by the end of my term in office. As part of this effort, the Department of Defense will allocate the remaining Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative funds by the end of this year. •To further strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses, I have directed the Department of Defense to refurbish and provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot air defense battery and to provide Ukraine with additional Patriot missiles. This builds on my decision earlier this year to divert U.S. air defense exports to Ukraine, which will provide Ukraine with hundreds of additional Patriot and AMRAAM missiles over the next year and will help Ukraine defend its cities and its people. 
 
•To build the capacity of Ukraine’s air force, I have directed the Department of Defense to expand training for Ukrainian F-16 pilots, including by supporting the training of an additional 18 pilots next year.
 
•To counter Russian sanctions evasion and money laundering, the Department of Justice, the Department of the Treasury, and the U.S. Secret Service have taken action today to disrupt a global cryptocurrency network, in coordination with international partners. The United States will continue to raise the costs on Russia for its war in Ukraine and to deprive the Russian defense industrial base of resources.
 
•I will convene a leader-level meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Germany next month to coordinate the efforts of the more than 50 countries supporting Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.

If the JSOW is indeed an extended range version; it is probably the JASSM-ER a Lockheed Martin AGM 158B derivative.

JSOW is a glide bomb, not a cruise missile. Very different from JASSM

The Bundestag agreed to increase funding for military support to Ukraine by around EUR 400 million This will enable the purchase of additional air defense, tanks, drones, ammunition, and spare parts, effectively strengthening the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ability to defend their country.

Don't think the JSOW has an extended range version though. Only similar weapon that does is the JASSM. JSOW can also be launched from the ground or surface ship from what I have read about them.

Are we talking about this?:

It says JSOW by name, JASSM is a  completely different system.

 

It just says "long-range" not "extended range". The JSOW is a longer range glide bomb than others in Ukrainian inventory. So the regular JSOW is "long range" relative to other bombs they operate.
