Rocket-68
By the way if PA wanted, he could pick up Tanev for nothing more than picks as a rental and not move any roster players.
Popular Post HKSR
Maybe... just maybe Petey wanted to have a legitimate top 6 player to play with consistently before re-signing? Just a thought... 2

Which means squat when it comes to playing in the NHL. Let's wait and see if we sign Elias - if not then I might not be as crazy about this deal. This is bang on. If we have paid this for a rental and we win the cup....woohoo If we don't resign him and we don't win the the cup, then we have given up a fair bit for nothing. 1

Lindholm's a UFA. & Calgary laughs in your face. I live in AB & have close friends that are diehard Calgary fans & I'll tell you right now, they are PISSED. Lindholm is a stud. 6 1 1
drdeath
Kuz and coach T clearly didn't jive and with the way he's got the boys going it's going to be hard for Coach not to be here after next season so Kuzy likely would have walked. Trading away a year and a half of Kuzy for half a year and playoff run of Elias Lindholm is a win. he's having a rough season but 17 points in 27 playoff games is going to be much needed. Got my #1 trade target. Unreal. And didn't pay a whole lot. Completely reasonable payment. I'd even say we underpayed !!! I admire your enthusiasm but, underpaid? You realize this is the cost of doing business for a top trade target. Especially to get ahead of the rest of the market. Exactly - well said Deniro! I would rather have him on our team than facing him on the Avs etc and he fills a huge need. Don't forget if and it's a big if we lose Lindholm in FA we freed up 5 million moving Kuzmenko 1
