Thats a lot to give up for a guy having a down year

yeah but the team itself is having another down year after losing Tkachuk and Gaudreau. They looking at a rebuild now.

Tocchet gets his wish, if kuz outscores lindholm then it will be a terrible trade.

I wonder if we're done?

I don't think they're done.  Either a middle 6 winger or bottom pair D incoming is my guess.

Didn't wanna see hunter go but 6 months ago he was a 3rd round pick.... our 1st is a late one in a so so draft.... Kuzmenko was never going to play more than 12 minutes in a rick Tocchet playoff run... Jurmo who? And a 4th is what you get for Curtis Lazar.

I hope Kuzmenko lights it up in Calgary and earns a good contract somewhere else. I hope Hunter B flops (cause screw the flames).

I'm excited to see if we can re-sign lindholm to a decent deal and if not I'm still excited we will have money to keep our team together otherwise (Joshua,Lafferty, blueger, myers)

If Lindholm re signs with us and or this is the last piece to get Pete's deal done .... Then it's a great trade. If it's just a short term rental it needs to push us deep in the playoffs to have been a good trade

Very appropriate price.

Canucks turn Kuzmenko into a very good fitting Elias Lindholm. Going to be a perfect fit on this team.

Move the 1st round which be a late one and sell high on an offensively producing defenseman in the OHL.

Add in another prospect and conditional pick. Not a scary payment.

Think, none of the main prospects or prospects knocking on the door here were involved.

There is also a familiarity with Lindholm and the management here where the Canucks could have as good a chance as any club to get him extended.

I don't care what the other team gets. I look at the Canucks active roster and how that just got much more dynamic.
