The Flames have 3 players with more points than Lindholm. The Flames leading scorer has 40 pts... Lindholm has 32. The islanders first was top 10 and had the potential to roll over to an unprotected very high pick. HB is a B prospect with us. Raty was the Islanders best prospect. Bru is having a great year i'm aware but he's still an unknown at this point vs Raty who already turned pro and is putting up decent #'s in the A. However, when we deep dive into the pros and cons about the trade, it’s important to realize and recognize that the Nucks saved cap, received a better player that is defensively more responsible and reliable, can play the PK or PP, and isn’t generally a liability, AND, freed up a few spots down low, and shows other players in the League that this team is serious about making a ‘run’ should they have to make a decision about where they want to be traded to or sign with.
