Hyenas and Lions are mortal enemies. They go to war against each other on the regular. And once in a while a single male lion gets cornered by a pack of hyenas. Most of the time male lion kills hyenas especially when the lion pride is together..But the lionesses alone don't fare so well against a large pack of hyenas. Decades of watching nature documentaries... I don't recall seeing a Bear vs Hyena fight... I get it Bruins are bears.. but it's Lions and Hyenas who fight..
