Optimist Prime Posted February 3 Share Posted February 3 I really enjoyed the womens 3 on 3, can't say I have had as good a time watching this skills contest. For me the draw was having 6 canucks in the All Star Weekend, but I have never been a fan of the All Star thing. I would think that a week after the playoffs are settled, like the PRO BOWL in the NFL, would be a much better time to showcase your stars, with a full season of work behind them to judge who is an allstar with. My wife points out though: the vast majority of the players in the NHL are getting a much needed vacation while these superstars put on a show. So i guess there is that "summer break'' idea relative to the school year to consider. Shrug, not really a fan of the shenanigans..i will be more interested in the scrimmages tomorrow.
