It does if we get an offer of exactly what we need.  An older goalie that another team is looking to move on from who we can keep long enough to mentor Devon Levi for a year or two.  The Sabres don't need a hungry young goalie.  They're too expensive in trade value, could start a goalie controversy, and would have zero interest in helping their younger backup take their job.
