We're not missing his defensive miscues. The Canucks are doing just fine in that without him.

Zads miscues are what keep him out of the top four on a competitive team. If he isn't willing to accept salary inline with that, bye bye. Love him, but he has to decide if it's all in for cash or giving up some to be on a competitive team.

You really think it's lack of pride and they don't care their careers, this season, the fans, or their teammates?

How many games/shifts in a row have they come out with a lack of emotion or controlling play? They just look so disinterested to put the work in. Miller especially. Going for a skate on some of his shifts. Just play for the next shift at least.

3:10 AM thoughts from abroad:

-Keep Miller and Pettersson together

-Try Lindholm and Boeser together on another line.

Miller-Pettersson-Lafferty

PDG-Lindholm-Boeser

Joshua-Bluegar-Garland

Mikheyev-Suter-Hoglander

Switch Lafferty and Hoglander

Juulsen is exactly what Canucks need.  Cheap ELC players that are playing above their cap hit.  Hope next year we get some young prospects stepping up to the big club.

Myers makes me real nervous for the playoffs. The margin for error is razor thin and I think back to the Leafs 1st round series two years ago. You can have a hard fought 60 minutes but the difference between a win or loss could come down to a mistake from a guy like Holl.

It happens. Teams go through cycles of mistakes and bad habits. Good teams will bare down and turn it around and I'm confident the Canucks will.

Myers with another Big Man penalty.

He does get a lot of unfair calls simply because he's bigger and heavier the player he has contact with.

But on the other hand,, he has to be aware of this. And not put himself into situations to make the refs fall for it again.

Remember the old days, when slow starts were all the fault of coach Green?

Well teams pick up on these things and I think the book is out on the Canucks right now. Jump on them early because they aren’t ready to start the game. They just have to start dictating play. It’s been a while since they have done this. Play in the oppositions zone to start the game.

They came on as the period went on. Definitely working hard and got turnovers. Kill this off and keep working.
