Wouldn't it be good to know if Bains can handle it now in case he's a injury call up in the playoffs?

Even if he gets schooled a bit he'll know what to work on

A healthy Bains may be a better choice anyway, than an ailing Mikheyev, in attaining Objective 1: To Win The Game.

Sure but I'm a little confused. Does it matter if he can get back to Abby quicker, isn't he up with big team already and would thus be travelling with the team to Minnesota and Colorado regardless?

It's also a back to back with Minny so it puts a more rested player into the line-up

If we're talking about one game. Seattle makes the most sense. Can't see him with the club longer unless an injury.

Minni or Seattle would be the less stressful games.  Gives Bains time to get in some practices

with the team and relax with his new teammates.  No need to rush him into a high-powered

game with the Jets.

In my defense I’m still sober, I take everyone seriously.

In that case a friendly wager then, I will take the Canucks and give you 1 goal meaning Petey and the boys will have to win by 2 at least. You interested?

True. Exactly that. I just think he's not at the stage in his development to be sticking longer and traveling with the team. This is his very first call up.

We do need to see him at this level though. He's been too good.

Why do I keep thinking Bains is like 26… he’s only 23 and just starting to ripen. Lets do him right by easing him in with a protected development path. So happy we don’t rush prospects anymore and they can mature at a natural pace.

We have 27 games left.

If you count from the last game you get 28, and you can basically divide into 4, 7 game series with different opponents at different levels.

But it's a good gauge, with a lot of tough opponents and seeing if the team can win 4 out of every 7 games. It can help develop good habits as the games

get more amped up for the upcoming playoffs.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the deadline. I think the Canucks were smart to make moves before the deadline so the players learn to work together.

I actually love this mentality, shit 💩 now we gotta win 8 rounds of 7 to win the cup… I guess we are due for multiple CUPS in 2024 🤪:towel:

let’s Go Canucks!! :towel:

Name checks out.

Just had to check this out and WOO-HOO a fellow math nerd ... I have a BSc in Mathematics and a minor in just about every other science there is (I like uni for some reason) ... anyway I fail at double-checking a "copy-paste" from a site ... good for you @MathIsFun for the catch.

On another note, WOOHOO for the BING BOT ... just a few hours old and already the BOT crawled all over us, ewwwwww that didn't sound right ... just a few hours old and already the BOT probed the CFF ports, ummm not much better ... anyway we made the Big Brother list, top of page

Copy and paste from this site --> https://sportsbookwire.usatoday.com/article/vancouver-canucks-vs-winnipeg-jets-odds-tips-and-betting-trends-2/

(1) don't use them to make betting decisions on; and

(2) if that is their odds maker, there are arbitrage opportunities on any site that uses them ... WOOHOO

Exactly. We're finally doing the right things down below. No need to hurry them along. It's becoming more internally competitive too.

Also crazy to think Hoggy is only 23 too.

Sit Mik for Bains.

Mik needs a maintenance day.

Haha… can you imagine management going to Mik “ listen we are going to do that surgery on your knee again” Mik “ why, it’s totally fine” Allvin, “ look we don’t think it’s fine besides we need to have a look at Bains and need your cap space for possible trades maybe Tanev” Mik “ but what about my bonuses…. Allvin” forget it Mik we’re trading you to Calgary”

Love this team Go Canucks! :towel:
