CanuckInOntario
https://www.nhl.com/news/nils-hoglander-fined-maximum-for-actions-in-canucks-game I didn't see this anywhere, but it was on NHL.com.
Curmudgeon
Yes, he high sticked Walman but the referees never saw it. I caught a glimpse on some replay or other and he definitely was guilty as charged. Hoglander is a tough little fellow with sneaky elbows and a sometimes bad attitude. He was suspended a couple of times in Sweden for throwing wicked elbows on reverse hits. He fights for every inch of ice and is unafraid. Speed, strength, agility and the ability to put the puck in the net in different ways make him invaluable.
Ghostsof1915
Surprised that DPS didn't suspend him for 5 games, or I guess we got lucky on the dart board.
CanuckInOntario
I think if there was a penalty called, there might of been a suspension instead of a fine.
gwarrior
Maybe Hoglander took exception to his little dance after he scored in overtime a few days earlier and decided to try and beat some sense into him.
6of1_halfdozenofother
The league probably thought, "You - a Canuck - highsticked a player on an original 6 team... "

JeremyCuddles
Hogs plays hard, as he has to being undersized. He has some much needed bite that the roster needs. I remember seeing some of the disciplinary stuff against him back in Sweden. Lol. He has to fight for everything cause of his size. Never change Hogs.
