Just now, Hairy Kneel said:

That wasn't a fucking pick. Myers is allowed his lane.

He's allowed his lane but he skated right into the guy tailing the guy with the puck. Textbook pick and that's okay, we haven't had much reffing luck lately.

Just to continue on the NHL managing games, it’s not just penalties. It’s calling one team (Canucks) offside on anything that’s close yet allowing plays to continue if it’s close for the other team. Since there is replay for offsides anything that is close should be allowed to continue.

Another example is linesman waving out centermen in key situations to help a certain team (Wild today) to gain possession of the puck.

NHL is such a bush league and I wish more people would wise up and realize this

The trouble athletes get into when they're caught shaving points.  What if the refs do it routinely?  Does anyone else find it fishy the NHL has its own betting TV show?   Where's the integrity for the NHL or does Bettman care about the glaring optics.  Objectively horrendous calls for all 20+thousand in the stands and millions watching on TV.  You would think Bettman would want to at least give the appearance of fairness.  But if they preserver and win then it all gets forgotten and thrown down the memory hole. That's the problem.
