HRONEK YOU ARE NOT RIDLY GREIG

DON'T NEED TO SLAP IT INTO AN OPEN NET

I hope the Canucks get two and Big Zeke is the one that blasts a clapper into the empty net

Everything is going wrong at once right now... bad puck luck, refs being blind, tough schedule, etc... it'll balance out eventually.  We're still super competitive even with all this shit going against us lately.

Called it. Knew there was no way he missed that clean. He had to get it off quick to take advantage of Georgiev still being out of position. If he held it and Georgiev got back in position for a save or he fumbled it people would be screeching the opposite.

Grounded non-emotional analysis.

Defenders do hit clappers into empty nets.

From their end of the ice.   Sometimes off the boards.

Releasing it sooner lowers that chance. Winding up for a clapper takes longer, gives the defenders time. Common sense.

Yep. He had time to move around the defender. Oh well. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

Yes, but much more delicious doing it 5 feet away from the net.

They were already in position when the puck got to Hronek.
