Popular Post Joe King
This was an awesome game. If Vancouver had scored the first 3 goals, then boston scored 2. Vancouver still wins but the pessimists would probably say, they were lucky to hang on,not a good team, blah, blah, blah. But the way it did happen last evening was absolutely euphoric. Makes for a great rest of the weekend. 4

EP - 13th JTM - 18th BB - 20th QH - 27th These beauties are all creeping up on the 2011 teams stats and I love to see it. Hopefully, we can start a run in the post season, that challenges these guys too: Adams had some memorable goals. It's fitting Brock is passing him. His streaky goal scoring, actually reminds me of both Geoff Courtnall and Adams. Edited February 25 by IBatch 2

A good run this year should start having us see them breaking that top 20.

Goaltending, forward, centers, d men etc. Won't be surprised if they win the president trophy this yr. But we all want to see playoff success. That's the thing we all care about. But you are right in putting it in perspective. We are getting spoiled in a sense that we expect that from them. I think we can all step back and appreciate how well the entire team is doing. Many players in 3/4 line roles are having career years too.

Chance he'd be in the rafters had we just stuck it out with him as a core member. Considering what he managed in the dead puck era well into his 30's, at the same time the Sedins struggled to provide secondary scoring ... is a testament to how good he was. One of the best players we've ever had from where i'm sitting. Edit: Makes the Messier thing suck even more. The slot was supposed to be Gretzky's. Have no doubt in my mind, his leadership would have kept Bure in the fold. Imagine if we had both those guys, Linden, Bure, Mogilny, Gelinas etc? Would have been sick. Popular Post IBatch
Beating Boston last night was just the medicine this team needed. If they didn't believe before, they sure should now. Boston has a very good roster too. Ours is better. We can beat the Bostons, WNP's, CAR, FLD's, EDM, TO's etc. Vegas too. This is a special team. 2 2

Start playing LAK for the first time next week, which should be beatable, but they are playing better again. Still 3 games vs VGK. Another game vs Avs. Couple games left vs Jets. These are all games we want to see them able to beat. Edited February 25 by Jaimito

Their travel relaxes, and they can start catching up with home games (again). Nursing soreness, managing minutes, Soucy back in, all become important preparing for the second season. Wins against these guys to a degree as well. They can do it. Home ice would be huge. They've got their own destiny in their hands. I'm still hopeful that Allvin can find one more gritty player for the top 6.
