DelPiLeo
Both Canucks and my Juventus snapped the losing streak on the same day. Canucks tied the game in last minute and Juventus scored the winning goal in the last seconds of the game. I really missed the feeling of winning. Thrago
I expected the streak to go to 7 games, glad they stopped at 4, Canucks really battled hard, was a great game to watch.

Goaltending, forward, centers, d men etc. Won't be surprised if they win the president trophy this yr. But we all want to see playoff success. That's the thing we all care about. But you are right in putting it in perspective. We are getting spoiled in a sense that we expect that from them. I think we can all step back and appreciate how well the entire team is doing. Many players in 3/4 line roles are having career years too. Exactly, sometimes its best to take a step back and look at what has been accomplished by the new core. 6 more years of JT, and if Petey were to sign long term, both could easily move into the top 5 all time points producers. Brock just tied Bo and Kes for GWGs at 25 last night in over 150 fewer games played, AND he tied Kes in PPG. Add in Demko quickly creeping up on Brodeur for 3rd in wins , and Hughes just decimating our franchise' defenseman records, I don't have much negative to say about the team moving forward. I'm in a crap mood after a string of losses just as any fan is, but I'm not worried about this group of guys. 1 7

Not Petey's fault that Mik can't pull the trigger on a perfect setup. It was Petey's high hockey IQ, realizing the Bruins had four skaters on the ice in OT, so he threw the pass into the middle of them to force the penalty call that won the game. Petey wasn't great, but he was fine. His face offs we're good, his 200 foot game was on point, people have to let up on the Petey hate, he's going to get his $12-12.5 million either here or elsewhere, hopefully it's here, because as Reach and Sat so correctly noted, if he leaves they won't be able to replace him. He is a Top-10 center in this league and is on pace to finish his second consecutive 100 point season, the Canucks haven't had a player do that in the cap era. Hank and Danny each only had one 100 point season in their careers. Nine of the top ten centers in the league are still with the team that drafted them. You can't sign top centers, they don't make it to free agency, you have to draft them. If you have a high pick, you pray that there is a top center available, because the only way to acquire one is a top five pick and some luck. There was 2-3 clear chances Mik should have scored the last game, and a couple the game before. The guy is skating in a fog, and he can't shoot.

Nucker67
Great to win another game, team looked thrilled. Good on the Canucks to bring back the Green Men, gave the game that playoff feel, although, these aren't the Bruins I remember. I was at the game. BOS had control of the first 2 periods, but then their offense disappeared and the Canucks crept back into it. Great to get the 2 points and to see EDM lose again. We face our first bit of adversity only to rise up and retake our top spot by beating our nemesis in dramatic fashion. Cant write this stuff. They've proven over the year so far and the fact that some are still skeptical means they really don't know how difficult a feat this is. Cup or bust? 1 team out of 32 will win. If that's the standard for some to buy in to the team, that's on them. A lot of really great/worthy teams won't win. People here ARE negative....just waiting for that one end result. Like all the rest are insignificant. Somehow seemingly taking pleasure when the team falters and they can have an "AHA" moment. Some of us take joy when we can get it. Enjoy the ride. Being skeptical just means you're waiting for something that the odds are stacked against happening. To say "See?! Told you". To....prove something. 8
Popular Post Snoop Hogg
Thanks to @PhillipBlunt and @luckylager for their kind words. However, I missed most of the game as I am under the weather and chose to rest. I wish I hadn’t though, because it sounds like we played great, which is most important and got the result we wanted. 5

We were in this game all along....even in the first, outshot and outhit them in the second and third. When we went down 2-0 it wasn't that we were being manhandled. And the team played well enough TO take over and get the win. Boston didn't "let" them in, they charged back in. Bruins looked scared/tentative in the 3rd. This team was NOT going to just let them roll through with the win. 1 5

Fun to see them once in awhile for a game like this, but the novelty factor of them is very thin now. Plus….were they really a good luck charm back in 2011? I seem to remember us losing to Boston 1

Fair enough. I just feel like this is a new team, new core, time for their own traditions to develop, but if others still love them, it’s all good. Is crazy P like Crazy George who used to be at the Lions games? Now there’s a blast from the past. 1
