Love Zad the team loves Zad. He's going to be re signed book it.

Watching him live today I was thinking wow does he look good. Better then on the TV,

but I guess he had a hell of a game

I had to go to my nephews birthday dinner after the 2nd, down 2-0. They had played well, but never expected them to come back. Oh yeah, I'm happy. Now I get to spend the next hour reading all your positive comments.

Just for the record, in 2018, Pettersson's team in the SHL won the league championship, and he was named Golden Boy, playoff MVP.

His 19 points led all scorers in the playoffs by five points.

His point total surpassed Daniel and Henrik Sedin's previous record for U20.

Hmmm...

For a team he wants to play for... To soon i'm not giving up yet.

played pretty damn good in the bubble too. Wish people would give it a rest

Agreed. Give it a rest and take it to the Pettersson contract talk thread.

The way we beat the Ruins tonight was awesome. What a great game and to end our losing streak that way is unreal.

Let's hope we found our legs again!

He's very involved. He's not a passive D. So it's a double edge sword much like Myers will make costly mistakes that show up for everyone to see.

He's absolutely a net positive player regardless of ill timed giraffes.

Good come back game by the Canucks. Boeser came in clutch today. Hronek is today’s hero!

Solid games by Miller/Juulsen.
Lindholm solid again in the faceoff circle.

Only one I wasn’t really impressed with was Petey. Didn’t seem as motivated as everyone else.

IMHO that was the best win of the year.  Down by two with around half a period to go, the weight of 4 previous losses hung around their necks, playing one of their nemeses and they pulled it off.

Key players

-JT

-Brock

-Zadorov

-Lindholm (several outstanding defensive shifts)

Now for some possible blasphemy for the old school fans.  JT Miller is every bit the leader Trevor Linden was.  At least as talented, at least as tough - all he needs now is the opportunity to lead the team deep into the playoffs.  Linden had 94, and 89 to a certain extent...hopefully JT can create some impactful playoff memories for the franchise during his time here.

Linden never really seemed as obviously hot under the collar as JT, but I see what you're getting at, big picture.

Heart stuff

How the hell do you or anyone know who he wants to play for?

If a team offers you 96 million dollars to play for them, and your indecisive, it leads to believe his commitment and desire to be there is not there.

Just my thoughts not his.

Agreed. The only thing sweeter than beating the Bruins is beating the Leafs.

Wasn't he stuck with Mike?

I'd be pissed too.

Mikheyev is the biggest drain on this team right now. For almost 5 million and no offence. He’s got an X on his back right now as the prime target to get traded. 27 games now without a goal

“I was told by sources who would know that this is not accurate. I’ve never seen these sources that upset over a report,” said CHEK’s Rick Dhaliwal

Who knows what the truth is, but exciting times to be a Canuck fans and we beat the hated Bruins - character game / win.
