While I'm happy that Pettersson will be here for the long term, I think he's going to need to step up his game a bit in order to live up to the contract. Hopefully, with the contract distraction in the rear view mirror now, Petey can go back to the way he was playing during the first 10 games of this season. He's gonna get a solid raise, but he hasn't been at the elite level for awhile now, so shouldn't be too expensive. Early in the year it looked like $8m+.
