HKSR
For those wondering. Cap% = 13.89%
Ghostsof1915
I'd be happy if Petey put on 10 pounds of muscle. All in his core and legs. I get he's worried he'd lose speed. But the extra strength and stability will probably make him a far better player. 3
Canuck You
Nice to See 2 top C's locked up for the foreseeable future! We got a bargain with Milsy! Hope he keeps it up!
Ghostsof1915
So blame Toronto. Nylander makes $11.5 million. Petey is a better player and makes a fraction more. I'm ok with this. But now the pressure is REALLY on Petey.

He can go out there and play hockey now, no worries whatsoever.

Petey should take a page out of their book. Hopefully he's working on his core. 3
Bob Long
it'll be interesting to see what this does now with other players, does Brock chose to extend, etc. I do think we'll see Mik and Garland moved before UFA season opens again.

I wouldn't hate bringing Cole back for a bit less either Hughes, Tanev/Hronek Cole, Tanev/Hronek Soucy, Zadorov Cole - Tanev would be a lovely shutdown pairing but I worry about longevity of that pairing. Cole is 35 and looking slower and older now. Tanev, as good as he looked in Calgary, is just over 34 and you know he's going to have a hard playoffs again. Skeij would be lovely, a big physical shut-down 29 year old. Give him 6M x 3 or 4 or even 5 years. Myers-type deal but Skeij is very much proven. Plant him under Hughes and we can rotate any old RD around him. I'd happily spend 10M on Sjeij and Tanev, let Cole and Myers' 8M walk and make up the extra cash elsewhere

Popular Post Nucker67
It's a lot, but in a few years it might look like a good deal. Happy this is done, no distractions. Petey needs to raise his game now, get a bit of what Miller has (passion) and giv'er in the playoffs. Earn that paycheque Petey 1

Popular Post -dlc-
All the crap garbage noise about he and Miller not being BFF's. If there's one thing this fanbase could really learn it's NOT to create or buy into drama. I love that we have them both on board....it shows the room (particularly the core) IS buying in to this team and on the same page despite what the sh disturbers put out there. They've battled through adversity together and that can really be team bonding. I see their (JT/Petey's) relationship like big/little brother stuff. JT likes to kid and Petey likely "gets" his sense of humour now and isn't intimidated by or worried about it. 5 1
Popular Post Bob Long
Keeping talent in Canada is so hard now, this is pretty impressive. He could have easily pulled a Tkachuk and not looked back. 3 2
