Some of my family and friends have been affected.  Why don't you go back to the deranged campaign of trying to stop people from accessing basic health care?     You want to talk about numbers,  the stats indicate this vaccine has been anything but effective.

You can't even answer why most countries aren't recommending these new boosters to the healthy under the age of 65.

Anything but effective??  Not what studies like this say

Estimation of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Effectiveness and COVID-19 Illness and Severity by Vaccination Status During Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 Sublineage Periods

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2802473

I know meatball Ron is pushing your last sentence.  Probably due to him agreeing with his moron FL Surgeon General.  Care to provide an actual source(s) to back that one up bud.

Besides Canada and the USA who is pushing boosters on healthy people under the age of 65?  Other than name calling none of you wonder why they have made that decision? Also, it's almost 2024 and some people are still calling for people to be banned from hospitals 😄

Also a lot of vaccine injuries aren't being reported. Many don't want to admit that this highly politicized vaccine caused some real health problems.

These are opinions and anecdotal statements.   You can't speak for people or say that many aren't being reported or recorded.  That's your opinion only

Less than 500k out of over 13.5 BILLION injections.  The odds of you having numerous friends AND family affected is so astronomically small that you'd stand a better chance if winning the lottery 3 times in the same week that Vancouver drafts the next Gretzky, Lidstrom and Lemieux in the same draft.

This is what I was saying.  I don't care about your Vax status.  I don't care about your beliefs.

I care that people don't lie about it because it's honestly just tiresome that so many.  So very many on both sides feel the need to fudge the numbers or create a litany of bs to support their side and beliefs.

Now you can get your back up all youd like here about this.  The numbers don't lie though.

People do.

But to be fair to him not everybody's sharing your opinion. So when I say I'm not vaccinated to a bunch of people on a British Columbia forum they get mad and attack me. Somebody who is vaccinated say like alf those that don't have the covid shot like myself don't seem to attack him. That would be the only difference I would say.

Hell you have people saying about the healthcare system should no longer be used by those that don't have a COVID vaccine, but yet they can use the healthcare system if they smoke their face off or drink their life away. I think covid has showed those that want to pay attention that the governments can very easily turn people against each other.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1228632/number-covid-deaths-canada-by-age/

Statistically your odds of death by covid under the age of 50 is extremely low regardless of vaccination status.  The chart doesn't even cover healthy young people meaning even less deaths in that demographic.    Numbers don't lie but you can lie about statistics all you want and deny there are people that have been negatively effected by the vaccine who were never endangered by the virus.

I also don't care of your beliefs of wishing the unvaxxed dead, banning/charging non 4+ shot people from the hospitals and coercing people who didn't need the shots in the first place.  So we can respect those who take the boosters and those who don't.

Herd immunity for any vaccine is vital for overall population protection, curtailing overrunning the healthcare system/healthcare costs and stemming virus spread to the most vulnerable in society.

Several countries are either not recommending the updated booster shot at all or are only recommending it for those aged 65 and over or for the vulnerable.

If you are young and healthy it doesn’t seem this updated booster shot is going to do much for you.

https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-02840-x

Now, many countries no longer have a boosters-for-all policy (see ‘Another autumn, another COVID booster’). The United Kingdom announced in August that autumn boosters would be offered only to the most-vulnerable individuals, such as adults aged 65 and older and health-care workers. France does not recommend an autumn booster for people not in vulnerable groups. Germany is not mounting a booster campaign at all, although it does advise an annual booster for people in high-risk groups.

For people at low risk, the booster “is not necessarily protecting them against severe disease because they don’t have that risk to begin with”, says Amesh Adalja, an infectious-disease specialist at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in Baltimore, Maryland.

Epidemiologist Michael Osterholm at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, says that individuals in low-risk categories should be able to choose to get a vaccine. He cites an increase in the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations in young US children, arguing that parents might be justified in wanting to vaccinate their child. But he also agrees that it’s okay for healthy individuals to skip this booster. Barouch says that “there is controversy” among specialists about whether young, low-risk people should get it.

That last sentence tells me not everyone is on the same page with this new updated booster. And certainly many countries around the world are not on the same page as Canada or the US either.

What does this have to do with the vaccine?  Not sure if you're using this is as an argument for denying services which isn't a Canadian ideal at all.

Advocating to deny people from seeing a doctor is very deranged.

Actually the deranged people are the ones refusing to get vaccinated and on top of that refuse their children from all vaccines. That’s deranged. Imagine not allowing a child to get vaccinated against Polio, Smallpox, Measles etc. kind of deranged, don’t you think?

Scarlet fever, tuberculosis, mumps, measles: You may think these are deadly diseases of the past, wiped out with vaccines and antibiotics. The truth is that these diseases are still infecting people worldwide, and some have made resurgences in the U.S.

It’s almost criminal for a parent to keep their child from getting vaccines.

I don't think anybody would argue these vaccines because they were tested for years before they were ever put into somebody.

Those vaccines had a start date and were used on the general population before there were decades of scientific knowledge how they’d affect the general population over decades.

The same will be true for the coronavirus and its mutations.

The same will be done for the next virus that’s a global health threat.

This is the way.

You do realize the Covid MRNA vaccines are even more safe than those older ones, right?

Why? Because the government told you so? How long were they tested for bud? How would anybody know the long-term effects? Anyways, I said I wasn't going to get into any conversations about this. If you want to covid vaccine feel free. I don't judge. But please respect my choice not to get that vaccine.

I actually don't think you are correct on this, however, I'm not 100% certain myself but I feel like they were tested for quite some time before they were put into people.

Try not to take general comments personally.

If you think you’re doing the best for your family despite all evidence offered then that’s on you and your household.

All we can do is make the best informed decisions for ourselves and our family.

Oh, I'm not taking it personally to be perfectly honest I think there's a number of people that might feel I'm deranged.😛

There wasn’t the global testing for years on those previous viruses. The ‘cure’ was found, tested, implemented and saved millions(tens, hundreds) of people over the decades.
