She and I both got vaccinated at the first opportunity. Now, after after a number of boosters and a bout of Covid, she's considering not opting for the next booster. I couldn't tell you what is recommended anymore but can say my wife still gets texts that a new shot is waiting for her (she isn't even 40). From day 1 literally every medical expert said that covid is here to stay and unlike things like polio it will continue to evolve and mutate and is expected to weaken at some point to something we just have to live with as more of an inconvenience than anything else ..... That's exactly the path it's following The vaccine came out in the first few strains. People who refused to get the vaccine are entitled to their view .... Making that choice didn't make them a Moron. Those that said no and didn't force their view , make up stories , spread lies , protested at.schools , hospitals or start freedom convoys ... And most importantly ..... Did EVERYTHING else to help protect others , such ad masking when required and staying home when sick. Those people are decent normal people who just said no However - the overwhelming number of those people fell in to the group that protested , spread lies , attacked anyone not supporting them , declared they were discriminated against etc etc. They literally wanted to stop and or shame anyone who chose to get it We never saw a get vaxxed freedom convey , get vaxxed street protests , get vaxxed rallies. We did however see that in large numbers from the anti vax group It was that anti group that created the division as the only way to have avoided it was to not had the vaccine for anyone At this point who cares ..... It's now much like the flu shot and I still get both so if I get it the reactions would be significantly less But to be clear - and history is very clear ...
