Meh, 1% chance of death and 6% chance of long-covid vs. some tiny risk from the vaccine. All the experts and intelligent folk studying the vaccine all say it's better to get it so I'll get it. Do what your doctors tell you to do regarding your health vs. random people on the internet who have essentially zero knowledge and expertise on the subject. They know the vaccine far better than you do. The infectious diseases experts know even more than them.

 

I'm in health care, I've analyzed the studies, they're clean, well-designed, and repeatedly show the benefits of the vaccine. 

 

Trust the medical professionals, they're entire lives are about this and they take great pride in it.

So the kids at the back of the short bus can hear.  Vaccines are not a force field.  No vaccine ever had a 100% effectiveness.  The bolded statement is absolute BS that is typical cut and paste anti-vaxx talking points that are easily debunked with basic information found on numerous sites like the CDC website.

You would think that people who participated in these kids of debates throughout this pandemic would at least have some basic 100 level vaccine science.  It looks like you fail to grasp even intro level information about vaccines.

One thing the anti vaxers and conspiracy theorists in general have in common is that they are almost invariably very weak in math and science, which is what allows them to believe their nonsense.

Anyways, it's pretty clear that anybody that didn't share a left-wing viewpoint on everything or criticize covid vaccinations were treated differently. You're free to believe otherwise, but I believe the proof is pretty clear. I also don't know why I would have to tread carefully because I don't know what I said how that broke any rules.

Why do you guys get so angry about those of us that choose not to get a covid vaccine? I have an attacked anybody forgetting one but because I didn't get one I'm the one being attacked. You guys are so anti freedom. It's crazy!

Because their 5+ shots in and are getting as sick or sicker than someone unvaxxed?  I'm sure that's why they want to charge people to go to the hospital, because there hasn't been much of an award for getting vaccinated.  The unvaxxed aren't dying like they were in 2021 which is also disappointing to them.  Maybe the 6th shot will be different as the Fall 2023 Moderna/Pfizer advertising campaign tells me and we can prove the rest of world that healthy peope under the age of 65 should be forced or coerced a booster shot because we believe in science...

I don't think I'm in a heated argument about anything. First of all I'm not even heated lol. And while I appreciate the gesture you are offering, it's funny why those that are on the same side as you, so to speak. You don't need to give the friendly reminder. I wonder if that's because criticizing, Alberta and referring to people as dumb that live here is just simply allowed. This is the issue that I have with so many today. They cry foul once there's a response back, but they feel they have the legitimate right to criticize anything they want and belittle people.

So it would be actually you that veered it off topic or actually the individual I'm responding to. So if you have something to complain about, maybe complain to that individual. See this is the confusing part. Why are you responding to me?? Oh that's right because I don't support these vaccines and I don't believe in a socialist utopia.
