His GM made a mistake bringing in someone the team doesn't need instead of finding more depth scoring to support. Malkin evidently slowing down, same with Letang. He has won everything and nothing more to prove. Either retire with the only team he has played for or asked to be traded if he wants to go for a 4th ring. He's only been here 15 games. When Joshua returns Joshua Lindholm Garland will be like having another 2md line. They'll be even better than Bleuger as C because they'll score more with Lindholm as C Bleuger doesn't have a goal in 24 games. Lindholm will be just fine in another 10 games or so just in time for playoffs.

JeremyCuddles
3 way scenarios. Kings get Toff, New Jersey gets Marky, and Flames get Vanacek and picks and stuff I guess. I imagine New Jersey doesn't want Vanecek and Marky. Bruins can sit on the sidelines twiddling their thumbs?

Hoglander is going to be a long-term guy on this team with Pettersson. Edited March 8 by J-

Goose
Zadarov, Lafferty have been solid and now Lindholm is starting to find his way-solid pick ups. Really curious what VAN can do tomorrow.

But IF JR was willing to trade for Guentzel that means he was willing to give up a significant amount of assets. Now he could just spend those assets on some one else.. Could still be a significant piece coming in tomorrow. Buchnevich would be awesome. I prefer him over Guentzel. A lot bigger younger and puts up plenty of goals.. plus he's signed thru next season. If you include that we gave away an A+ prospect, a B prospect and a fantastic 1st round pick that will certainly net a future HoFer oh and a possible 50 goal scorer.

Huh? All draft experts have the draft fall off at 20. That pick for Lindholm is almost like a second rounder. Zads would gather a second right now, easliy. Bizarre comment. 1

Blueger is the glue there and his puck control and ability to harass the other team without the puck was a key part with joshua creating space and turnover and garland ready to always make a play. Lindholm has a different skillset in my opinion and we're better building a new line around him. Love to see eberle with him.
