This isn't always the other team letting down....this is us showing them up.

Media was saying oh LA didn’t play well against us, Oh Vegas didn’t play well against us 

 

maybe it’s time for the media to accept that when we play our game we are dictating and not allowing the teams the ability to “play well”

 

This team is very different than 2011 who was high energy, run and gun and both ends and I think it’s confusing to the media / pundits 

 

as someone who played at a high level, whenever I see them shutting down good teams I’m seeing the same thing - we are playing such terrific technical hockey that makes it look kind of boring and easy….  But it’s not, it’s a team that is incredibly well coached and has bought in. 
 

I didn’t think we were cup capable but if we play this way….

It was so impressive how the 2nd period started & the Canucks just picked right back up where they left off. No push from the Jets, just more domination.

 

Now they've had a few chances, but overall from a 'process' standpoint this has been totally 1 sided.
