Sometimes they played some of the puck management unnecessary, for example, late 2nd period goal and giveaway that led to goal, stealing all the momentum away and the OT puck hit the head. All the bounces that the Avs had will not happen if they meet the Canucks in WCF. I would bet you that they do not press full ice pressure so that they do not give away their strategy in the playoffs. Not giving the AVS all the hands when they meet in the playoffs would be wise move, just throw away this game, letting them think that comeback is genuine. Again they have a few days off and they will regroup before facing Washington. They continue to show us what they can do, and they don't have to do that much more to beat the best teams. Wing Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 Very frustrating...I don't know what happened after we let in that late goal in the second and the team stopped skating. The 5-3 goal killed our momentum but we gotta learn how to overcome those if we want to go deep in the playoffs. I have to say again. Without MacKinnon I don't see Aves as a contender.
