What he signed for wasn’t too much. $5 million is at the upper end of what you should pay, and the term isn’t really what should break it considering his age and the future big rise in the cap with Arizona out of the equation and replaced by a bigger revenue team in Utah. For our D, I like Hughes-Hronek Zadorov-Juulsen Soucy-Myers a lot better than Hughes-Hronek Soucy-Myers Forbert-Juulsen Still time to go, but our improved defence was a key last year. Three solid pairings meant you didn’t have to ask too much from guys. He struggled that last half of the year with too much being asked for him at his age, but folks seem to forget how well he was doing for us until injuries hit and we leaned on him really heavily. We don’t have that player this year, at least so far, Forbert is not it. Our D is significantly weaker right now and it would be a lot to ask for D Petey to carry a pairing.
