Popular Post Strawbone
I have watched or listened to about 90% of Canucks games for the last 45 years, and I almost never turn it off even if they are down by a bunch of goals going in to the third, so I think I'm a pretty die-hard fan. Yeah, they owe me a cup by now 2

Had to earn the money to take the ferry over, rent the hotel, by the drinks ... worth every cent. And didn't mind it at all. The goal was, to see how high you could go. 1 1

Popular Post Coconuts
I became a fan in the early 2000's Caught the tail end of the WCE, got to see the success that the Sedin led teams had, and have watched my fair share of mediocre rosters over the last ten or so years to balance out all the competitive rosters I got to watch I'm simply not as old as many of the fans around these parts, so I reckon I've paid what I can 1 4 1

Popular Post Sophomore Jinx
First game in 1970 as a 7 year old kid Got a Stan Smyl stick while attending a NW Bruins game....being a kid, I put a Super Blade on it and played road hockey with it Was there in '82 watching my idol Bossy dismantle my team, while breaking my heart in the SCF Had season tix in the dreadful mid 80's era Threw my hands to the sky, and cursed the ground I stood on when Lafayette hit the crossbar in '94, while being proudly in awe of TL16 and their heroics 2011 - I still haven't watched any replays of the SCF, and I have never seen the Bruins' on ice celebration at the end of game 7...and I never will Lamented and suffered through the losses of Bourdon and Rypien Dues paid in full, yet still happy to continue paying them...and just waiting like the rest of you, for that Silver Can to finally come home Edited March 29 by Sophomore Jinx 4 1 1

RupertKBD
Been a fan since Day 1..... Saw three games at the Coliseum back in the day. (was living in PG at the time) Saw Gretzky as a 16 year old. Saw Danny Gare score a late goal to help the Sabres beat the Canucks and saw Petr Nedved score a couple to beat the Oilers in the early 90s.....(went straight from that game to BC Place and watched Doug Flutie and the Stamps demolish the Leos).... Haven't seen the Canucks at Rogers, but did get to see the Grizzlies lose the Sonics a few years later..... 1
Rocket-68
I once had flat beer served in the owner's box during a playoff game .. so ya, hardship all around. J/K been a fan as long as my memory goes back in the early, early 70's. Got thrown out of the Pacific Coleseum for fighting with fans of the opposing team (Kings if I recall), snuck back in and got thrown out again for fighting them again, same group different challengers. Popular Post Maniwaki Canuck
I've been a fan since the beginning in 1970. Saw Bobby Schmautz score a wicked screen goal in my first live game circa 1973. Was there for the one playoff game the Canucks won against Montreal in 1975. If I recall right it was 1-0 with Paulin Bordeleau scoring. Was in the backwoods of Peru for the 1982 cup run and thought my buddies were having me on when they told me about it. Lived and died with the 1994 run, same with 2011. Stayed up way too late listening to games all the decades I lived back east. So much losing but never enough to cure me. This current team is special and hopefully will be the one to finally bring us a cup but whatever happens, I'm here for the ride. 1 1 2
Gelinas34
Maybe not as old as some of you but I remember catching a few Canuck games on BCTV. Jim Robson sending out a special hello to pensioners, shut-ins and all those who could not get out for a game. Too young for ‘82 but ‘94 and ‘11 would seem to be enough. Did not stand a chance in ‘82 but so close those other runs! 1

Grinch
- Had beer “spilled” on me at the saddledome during a Canucks game - only been to one Canucks home game that was a few years ago with some mates and it was against the leafs, we ended up in a parking lot brawl with some leafs fans and then hit up the sharks club for celebration shots and then ended the night at the Roxy(yikes) that I found out about from CDC and i met that fucking dart guy dude there. Kanagan
In the interior we didn't get the games so I spent many an hour listening to static on the radio hoping for a few minutes of clear Jim Robson. It's called the skip in radio jargon. 1
