Huggy Bear Posted September 21, 2023 Share Posted September 21, 2023 If one of the contracts is Myers, PA went out of his way to say they’ve liked his play after Foote/Gonchar arrived, and have no intention of trading him. That would mitigate any hard feelings about being one of the contracts they want to move on from. He was on the worst pairing in the NHL last season - he knows he’s not providing $6M in value, but also that he’s still part of the team going forward.
