C'mon bro, He has our back just like Bieksa! I love these actual tough guys that actually stick up for the uniform!..No knock at all, I saw him play when he was around my time and loved the toughness! Popular Post CaribouCanuck
One of my favorite playoff memories was 2010 the first round against the Kings and the Canucks were blowing out the Kings in game 5 to take back the series lead after being down and O'Brien gets in a fight with Simmonds and wins decisively, then pumps up the crowd and showboats. He might not have been the best player but he was always fun to have on the team. So nice to see how he still cares for the team after all these years. 4

Shekky
Was never a big fan of his but I do agree with a lot of what he has to say. The own goal when Van had the powerplay coming up is what comes to mind for his time with Vancouver from what I remember of him.
Popular Post IBatch
We should appreciate Shane O'Brian. Always has the teams back. He could have retired and went to TO or something (Port Hope ...must have grown up a Leaf's Fan), or one of this other stops. No, instead he's created a niche job for himself, covering his favourite team from his playing days, and still 100% has our back. These guys played the toughest job in hockey, have no issue with having their backs the same way he has ours. Don't get many chances to get an inside look at the players experiences in Vancouver when we were just awesome. Missed this guy on our team as well... could have used him in 2011. Mitchell too. Edit: His Missing Curfew is colourful, and uncensored. Love how he supports JT Miller, he recognized right away, what we had in him. Also recognized the same things Allvin and JR did and fixed. A small tiny, D-core with no little snarl and size. Love how he mentions how that's changed, and how important that's going to be come playoff time. It surely will help. The longer we stay in it, the easier it's going to become for this group, and the harder it's going to be on our competition. Unlike the bubble, Myers isn't our only guy who's up to the task. Myers, every post season he's been in, he's amped up his game. That sort of energy is going to be passed around to Juulsen, Zadorov and Soucy - who was noticeably hard on our forwards in the bubble. Took decades, it's nice to see we finally have one of the biggest d cores again. Plus of course our superstar captain, who a year ago wasn't at all comfortable about the teams ability to protect. Popular Post spook007
How can anyone not just love O'Brian? He takes ownership of the good and bad... I especially like him saying, fans has a right to complain, if the team suck. He knows, how passionate the fans in Vancouver are, how much they care for their team, and he applauds them for it... On top of that, as a 6th defence man, he just like Bieksa had the rest of the players back... Knew his job, and did it... Good lad. 3

King Heffy
Loved the way he played. We could have used his toughness in 2011.
