  1. 1. Canucks hired you as the emergency PP Coach. What is the single move you would make to have the biggest impact?

    • Plant the biggest body on the team in front of the goalie, ala Big Buff - Big Zeke or Dak?
      22
    • Put Honker on the PP1 unit and have him launch bombs at the net even if someone is standing in front of him.
      15
    • Replace Suter in the Bumper Spot with a Bo Horvat lite - Hogz or Dak?
      24
    • Really mix it up and put out Miller, Petey, Honker with Player 1 and Player 2 - see my comments below
      3
    • None of the above, see my comment below.

Going to be listening to this one on ol’ AM radio as I work outside in my sun drenched garden. I’ll record it on the PVR for some watching tonight, assuming all goes well with the expected result.

Could you imagine in the next 10 years all commentary could  be AI?

I'll pay extra to just have on ice sound and no commentary at all. Fuck AI. Taking humanity out of the equation is bad.

My Power Play Solution.

PP1

Petey, Joshua, Miller

Soucy, Hronek.

PP2

Hogs, Bluegar, Podz

Hughes, Juulsen

Rotate Chaos Giraffe and Cole in and out of the last batch of games.  I'd try to keep Hughes and Hronek's minutes down to the low 20 minute mark.

You have the option to rotate Soucy and Zads on the first power play unit as well.

Yeah, sorry....as happy as I am I won't be wearing  a "clinched" shirt. I somehow feel it would be a bit of a jinx...don't get too far ahead of ourselves. It's awesome to be this excited but celebrate the accomplishments AFTER it's all said and done.

They can for sure be proud of this season no matter what. But getting into the playoffs (whether clinching or not) is one step in it all. I'd prefer shirts that say Playoffs 2024.

Saw your towel earlier.   Haven't worn this, for awhile.   It's rolled up in my sock drawer..ready for a steaming and light press.   A size too small now, but going to be wearing it game one.

GCG!   Clinched bring on the rest of the regular season.   Proud of this group, they've certainly earned the right to be in the show.

I used my swap out to trade my sympathy sex for victory sex for tomorrows game because I know we will win, normally I wouldn’t do this but I accidentally swallowed some viagra.

Go ‘Nucks.

Must be some high strength Viagra, if they have to last until tomorrow :classic_laugh:

get ready for the excuses.

Oh fuck, here we go.

Canucks time to tighten up on penalties. You know if there's an excuse to call a penalty against the Canucks this moron will do it.

Don't give him an excuse. Wins keep the naysayers at bay.

He didn't read the instructions and downed the whole box.  Personally I think she's just giving him pity sex and she's too nice to tell him. 😆

I thought of one when it happened last night. Goes something like this; About F**King  time!

Nothing like backing into the playoffs. What's funny is no one seems to want the last wild card in the East. Lol.

Getting the last wild card spot with other teams losing would be backing in.

Getting 45 wins is not.

The team is not instilling confidence right now, but I think it has alot to do with Demko's absence.

While Desmith has performed admirably as our backup it the team is playing not to lose. When Demmer is in they know he'll make the big save which drives their play up ice quicker and with confidence.

Petey with his maintenance day and Lindholm's top secret injury of course adds to that.

We need a dominating performance today with offense driven by some depth players.

5-1 Nucks

I'm not sure how you can say we are ' backing in ' we are 6-3-1 in last 10 and lost to LA/Dallas.... not like we are 3-6-1 instead. & we are missing what should be a vezina finalist in Demko.

Agreed, Demko instills a lot of confidence.
