  1. 1. Canucks hired you as the emergency PP Coach. What is the single move you would make to have the biggest impact?

    • Plant the biggest body on the team in front of the goalie, ala Big Buff - Big Zeke or Dak?
      22
    • Put Honker on the PP1 unit and have him launch bombs at the net even if someone is standing in front of him.
      15
    • Replace Suter in the Bumper Spot with a Bo Horvat lite - Hogz or Dak?
      24
    • Really mix it up and put out Miller, Petey, Honker with Player 1 and Player 2 - see my comments below
      3
    • None of the above, see my comment below.

Interesting. Seems to be lower back for Lindholm, IF this was the injury.

It could be.  This clip is the Col game on March 13.  Lindholm played 4 more games after this one including March 23 against Calgary.  He played that entire game as he scored a late empty netter.

So if that was the injury back on March 13 it is a nagging one that didn't keep him out of the lineup for another 10 days before he saw a specialist and was sat out.

Could be plausible..

The team is not instilling confidence right now, but I think it has alot to do with Demko's absence.

While Desmith has performed admirably as our backup it the team is playing not to lose. When Demmer is in they know he'll make the big save which drives their play up ice quicker and with confidence.

Petey with his maintenance day and Lindholm's top secret injury of course adds to that.

We need a dominating performance today with offense driven by some depth players.

5-1 Nucks

It certainly not the d-side game that has the Canucks in a funk. It is the offence. Desmith is doing just fine. Canucks have 8 games to iron out their offensive game particularly the PP. Cup play is a whole other game. The team is built well enough to do well. The reaction by the younger players and those with limited Cup play experience will be fun to watch. Yes, Demko can win games on his own it seems. We will need Bubble Demko. Hoping he plays the last 3 regular season games.

Silovs playing which is smart. Canuck fans shouldn’t forget the depth of coaching the org has. All levels starting with Tocchet have won Cups. I doubt there is anything they have not considered.

Actually I double checked and this clip is from way back on Feb 20.  So not sure. That's like 13 games prior to him sitting out.  Hmm...

Will any one actually buy those though? I find it weird. The marketing team missed on that one.

They're pretty brutal. PTSD from their taking care of business idea. They don't want to say anything too bold. 🙊

Oilers beat the Ducks last night 6-1. Let's see what the Canucks can do with the Ducks having to play a back-to-back.

If the Canucks lose this game..... 😱

It's a must win. If the Canucks can stay ahead of the Oilers for the #1 (Pacific), I'll have some playoff faith.

No excuses tonight.

We've clinched and we're up against a poor team

Win, and win convincingly

They better win because we're allready all the way down to  7th spot and I don't want to see us finish in 9th or 10th spot as the Hockey Writers are predicting. Lets prove them wrong and finish in 6th or better.  We can do it!

That was such a brutally managed game by the refs. I'd be lying if I said this didn't worry me.
