They are located in all parts of Canada and can be seen wandering alone or in packs in search of meat. While they are known to attack pets, they generally will not attack humans unless they feel threatened or cornered by them. With coyote birthing season in spring, homeowners are seeing an influx of coyotes on properties, triggering alarm to those that own pets and have young kids. Homeowners that are looking for ways to manage coyotes on yards need to turn to fencing to block jumping attempts from coyotes.
