I've had a couple inquiries on Carson Soucy the past few days, but all from teams not on his list. Guess I hadn't bothered to post it yet. Not in any rush to move him as he has multiple years on his contract, but he's very much available for a fair return.

PHI, CBJ, WSH, WPG, NJD, CAR, ANA, DAL, NYR, ARI

Roster moves: Seattle recall Isaak Phillips, and pending another trade call, recall Henry Thrun as well.

Place waiver claim on DeSimone, and if successful assign Linus Karlsson (no waivers).

I have processed the Phillips Transaction, however that puts you at 14F and 7D, so there is no room for Henry Thrun

Did I just find an infinite loophole in the system where players choose LAK or ARI that I can trade for players who have either on the trade list ?

Hmmm.. 😆

Oy. Not sure where I miscalculated here, but I'll rescind the claim on DeSimone. Still send down Karlsson and recall Thrun.

Florida is incredibly happy with the way things are shaping up heading into the stretch. Since the start of the season, via trade, we have added Sam Reinhart, Pius Suter, Morgan Barron, Cal Clutterbuck, Simon Holmstrom, Jani Hakanpaa, Ross Colton, and most recently, Ian Cole. These are all players that will help ensure that we remain as competitive as possible, both in the regular season and in the playoffs. Holmstrom is currently on the outside looking in, but he is going to be a huge part of this team now and in the future, as we see him developing into one of the better 'dark ace' players in the league.

This is our team now since all of the latest movement:

Brad Marchand - Adam Henrique - Sam Reinhart

Andrei Kuzmenko - Ross Colton - Alex Tuch

Erik Haula - J.G Pageau - Cal Clutterbuck

Morgan Barron - Pius Suter - Keegan Kolesar

Austin Watson

Niko Mikkola - Artyom Zub

Jamie Oleksiak - Jani Hakanpaa

Ian Cole - Rasmus Ristolainen

Uvis Balinskis - Tony DeAngelo

Shesterkin

Luukkonen

Call ups: Simon Holmstrom, Simon Edvinsson, Beck Malenstyn, Grigori Denisenko, Angus Crookshank.

We also have an announcement! With the latest departure of Jesper Fast, we are proud to announce Sam Reinhart as one of our team's alternate captains! Ever since acquiring Reinhart, the fortunes of this team have changed. It is only fitting that he gets this honor just after signing a new 8-year deal with us! 🥳

I thought captain and alternate captain could only be changed in the off-season....no?
