Well the silver lining in this is that the Vegas win helped them increase their chances of getting that third spot in the division.

If we can hold the division lead that would most likely equal a Vegas/Edmonton first round matchup and a Canucks/Preds matchup.

This is all we're going to hear next season right?

People bitching about Petey's contract?

People were complaining before he signed the 8 year contract... you don't sign a guy who can't show up on even a remotely consistent basis.

Was still piling up points though

No he wasn’t, look up the definition of consistent, Took 15 or so games for him to have more goals than Myers.

Myers is honestly the worst 2 on 1 defender we've had, possibly ever.

The funny thing is it's the same thing every time. Lay down way too early, skate past him and then hit the wide open pass lol.

How does somebody that big not prevent a damn pass going through laying down?!

Boy you sure get triggered easily, insecurity is a bitch

10 points in his last 32 points and asking $8m+

If we're talking about disappearing points getters, thats appropriate, no?

Stop drinking or taking drugs.

You are talking nonsense.

Game pretty much hinged on that illegitimate game misconduct to Zadorov early on….and after video replay, to reveiw it - too.

Officials really DO influence games …& no one more so than Mr. “gotcha again” Sutherland!

ln 2011 he refused to even call penalties on Bruins, but felt at liberty to give a 10-min misconduct to a Canucks player wearing an “A”  after he questioned getting punched a few in the face (trying to draw a penalty by not retaliating)  with no whistle …& then simply reminded   Sutherland to do his job!

Nor would Sutherland ever-dream  of ejecting Duncan Keith, another O-6 player, from a game for lynching the same choir-boy Daniel Sedin with a pre-signalled act of retribution (head-strike) to to his jaw…as Daniel innocently looked up at an air-born puck!

^The league thought that this action was worth a 6-game suspicion,….but Sutherland thought leaving Keith in the game to insense the opposition & create extra drama was the ‘better’ thing to do!

Same thing with the Steve Moore’s horizontally launched-hit to concuss the league’s leading scorer Marcus Naslund’s noggin. Not even a penalty there! The consequences of the mismanaged  sequels speak for themselves!

If an official mismanages a game so badly - it’s NOT proof of experience to be green-lit for a repeat?! It’s proof of incompetence, that should be side-lined, in favor of fresher eyes.

BUT - now, he’s so mockingly cute, ejecting Zadorov for something clearly quite Mickey Mouse in comparison to all of that ….???!!!

KS is a megalomaniac head-case quite incapable of decent judgements where the Canucks are concerned.

Black-ball him.

It is both necessary & required!

Yeah all those points really came in handy the last few games. I'm so happy he has stats instead of actually playing well

The point was, in case you missed the context, was you can't call a player a 50 point player until he actually hits 50 points

Do you disagree?

How about instead of ignoring all the obvious signs petey is playing like garbage... and repeating that he has points...

Why don't you tell everyone what he has done lately to earn your defence?

Hmm?

Please enlighten everyone, put up a good argument... how has Petey been elite level?

I'll wait

Defending 101: Let the goalie have the shooter and take away the pass.

All he had to do was block and pass and he couldn’t do that..Decided to have a rest instead.
