A taste of playoff intensity and they shit the bed. To be fair I didn't watch ~50 minutes of this game but what I did watch was friggin sad. A couple soft goals and then Zadorovs penalty deflated them. Take those away and it’s a much different game. Credit to them for not quitting and Hughes played like the great captain he is tonight. We just need less passengers and better defending. For the most part we’ve been very good at defending rush chances so not sure what happened tonight. 1 3

If this team was lighting it up, and people were complaining about one little thing, then sure you're legit. But... This team is playing bad in a lot of areas, so that's not the same thing. Powerplay Top 6 scoring Bottom 6 scoring Energy Forecheck Defensive zone coverage Odd man rushes It's like they forgot how to play entirely. The difference is its still the same team that we watched in January, so fans can see there's big problems Not sure if you're just pouty because they lost, and you like to go online to troll other people, or you legit don't actually watch the games

Robinfood
1 minute ago, The Aquaman said: Problem was, it was hard to put a number on Kuzmenko, after his rookie season. Nobody knew what he was worth, he had an unreal shooting percentage in his first year. Even Ovechkin in his prime couldn’t have a 45% shot goal ratio. It was tough, then his play got exposed. They got sold big time by his agent Milstein. If it’s hard to put a number on it, and all you have is 1 year track record generally that’s not when you go giving an absurd raise. PA got played big time there, he’ll never admit it though.

Barnstorm
Too few giving too much. Too many giving too little. Team seems subdivided and growing further and further apart.

His teammates squandered a 2 goal performance by their Captain with some listless, bonehead plays And if RT is dead set on playing Cole, then dress 11 forwards and 7 D. Not saying that Juuls would have won the game, but he would have made a difference

The Preds are on a 3 game losing streak & have lost 7-4, 8-4, 3-0. The Kings are on a 3 game losing streak as well. We have played bad lately - but so have other good teams. Junkyard Dog
7 games left. Let's get some momentum. I would rather let the Oilers/Knights beat each other up in the 1st round than face either with how they're playing.

The high intensity / high pressure game that's made them successful is completely gone. Even in the wins they aren't playing well, and they don't seem to have that push to play well. If they think they'll flip a switch game 1 will be a disaster. And if they face Vegas I don't think we'll recover. 1
Outsiders
Sad to see our bottom 6 be non-existent. They played a huge role in the first half of the season. Half of them don't even look like NHLers right now
DeNiro
4 minutes ago, JayDangles said: Stop pointing at other teams and look just at this team... your excuses seem to just be silly. It's not that the team lost. Of course they will lose... it's that they are playing pretty bad lately, at all ends of the ice. They are also playing bad when they squeak out wins too. If you can't see that the team is playing completely different hockey than they were in January I guess there's no explaining it. It's not our opponents it's the canucks. This team is not playing like they are ready for the playoffs and it's showing for a lot of folks. Maybe listen to Toccs interviews.. does he sound like a coach who is impressed with how his team is playing? Nope and you’ll hear the same thing from Floridas coach tonight. Again if we take a step back and dont just watch Canucks hockey, you’ll see we’re not alone in falling into the trap of coasting. Of course we don’t want that to happen but it’s another learning lesson that this team is going through. You don’t just turn into contenders overnight without going through stuff like this.

I dunno, our record last month was solid but we haven't looked dangerous over this past stretch The way they've been playing Edmonton may very well catch us, which is wild considering how they started the season
