You just described EP but we are stuck with him for 8 more years.

Boeser is one of the few who showed up and produced.

Yeah but Petey has a way bigger upside. I would consider him to be in a slump right now, but I fully expect him to play to his potential and live up to that big contract as he grows and matures. Boeser has a lower ceiling, and I think we are seeing it. I don’t think he has another gear, and I think we can do better in a top six player

No réponse for the Hughes hit. Disgusting

Per Kings crew, Boeser was steaming and went for Moore but Miller pulled him off, to avoid nullifying the Powerplay

He's been barely ok. Since minnesota, when he should've been pulled he had been crap. Why doesn't he get pulled?

Silovs looked good last year, did a great job with latvia and he's big.

Because the coaches know more than you

If we get LAK in the playoffs, the season is over.

Most likely that's how it's going to go.

#2 van against #3 LA

Doubt they're even going to win a round at this rate, especially if they're up against L.A., pretty sad with the way this team played the first three quarters of the season.

Things are shaping up for worst case scenario.

Id say Edmonton will win the div anc LA will finish third, which puts van against LA in the first round.

Edmonton is not winning the division.

Still plenty of games left. Don't worry about things you can't control.

We can't control any of it, does that mean we can't discuss anything?

Most likely not.  Nux still more likely to win div.  Even after today's results.

DeSmith has been a great backup for us.

Do we really think that we are gonna go full Spencer Martin for the playoffs?

Martin had a phenomenal first 5 of 6 games too.

.895 sv% is great? HUH?

If the team is thinking the same shit, yes it will be a first round exit against the kings.

Its not important which team you play it depends on how you play.

Discuss sure.  No need to fantasize the worse case scenario every game.

The cup isn’t decided in April either so can say the same about the wet blankets

Don't think anyone has said we've lost already..

Pretty sure what folks are saying, including me, is that the way the team is playing lately will not win in the playoffs. Things need to get better. And since we all know things like PP, scoring etc isn't a switch you turn on, it takes time to get into a winning groove, that there's obviously a big problem here.

It's not wet blanket to state the obvious. It might hurt some sensitive people, but the truth can hurt sometimes.

First step to fixing the problem is admitting there is one.

Kings just seem to have our number, we haven't matched up well against them

I think we've slightly outplayed them, but DeSmith has just been rough against them. 3 goals against on 19 shots last night out against LA. 6 goals on 29 shots tonight. Vegas blew him up too. I know the metrics would look bad, but at what point do we run with Silovs instead of DeSmith til Demko is back? Lol.

That's probably how it's going to go.  Van is falling apart, the oikers are surging.

They're gonna win tonight, so they'll be 3 points behind with a game in hand.  And they face us one more time.

You think we're gonna beat them right now without Thatcher Demko?
