Technically if the Canucks win all 3 of the remaining games, they are division champions regardless of what the Oilers do. They hold destiny in their hands regardless. If they did not share your view of optimal first round opponents, surely they could do something. But then perhaps other opponents would act accordingly. All they control is winning.

DownUndaCanuck
Wonder why we haven't tried the Lotto line again? Garly is firing up any line he's on, maybe he and Dak can get Lindholm going on the 2nd line? Regardless, goaltending is our big issue right now. You can't blame the D after going 100% on the PK and just letting up 17 shots but 4 goals against is not good enough. Smashian Kassian
12 minutes ago, Devron said: I don’t know where that comes from. I see examples almost every night of great teams losing to teams they should beat. Not saying its easy or that youll win everyone, just seems like were consistently making it hard on ourselves lately more than other teams. We lose to Arizona tonight, barely beat Arizona in Phoenix, barely beat Anaheim. The team we saw earlier in the year that attacked in waves, played a high-pressure connected game, moved the puck well as a unit, defended moving forward, exc is often MIA or only around for parts of games. Theyve had some good moments but the fastball seems to be missing. Last time is prob the 5-0 win against Winnipeg.
